JV and Frosh games have switched.

Thursday, October 23: the Cascade JV team will play North Marion at 5:30 at home (Cascade High School football field).

Thursday, October 23: the Cascade Freshmen will travel to Banks for a 6:00 kickoff vs Banks’ Frosh team.

There is a change because North Marion does not have a frosh team and Banks does.

The Cougar Calendar has been updated to reflect this change.

There have been concerns about how the school and the football program are dealing with concussions.

If you have any concerns please contact our Athletic Director,  Heidi Hermansen (503-749-8010 ext.2904 or hhermansen@cascade.k12.or.us).  She will be happy to discuss the school district’s protocol for return to play.  This protocol is in place for all sports at the school.

“As a parent, I understand the frustrations that parents may have.  I experienced the same frustrations when my son went through the same process.  He returned to play and had no more concussions or symptoms.”
