Next week, July 22-25 is team camp. The times are estimated as 9:30-12 and again at 3:00-5:30.  The cost is $75 with $25 of that being used towards food items for the season. Please do not let the cost keep your child from participating as other arrangements can be worked out with Coach Turner.

We will be serving our entire team dinner Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. Since we will not be providing food for the other schools this year Coach Turner has asked that our football families provide the meals for each of those three nights. Anne Yunker has assembled a great team for Wednesday night (THANK YOU) and will be serving hot dogs, potato salad, watermelon etc so that night is completely covered. Donna Schnepp is planning to serve spaghetti Tuesday night. The sauce has already been donated (THANK YOU) but we are still in need of cooked spaghetti noodles, french bread, salad, and drinks. Please contact her if you would be willing to donate towards these nights or are available to serve. We are planning to serve dinner around 5:45 PM.

Gear will be issued beginning Monday July 14th, to be ready for use during Team Camp starting the following week.

  • Seniors - Monday, July 14 after weights (approximately 10:30am)
  • Juniors – Tuesday, July 15 after weights
  • Sophomores – Thursday, July 17th after weights
  • Freshmen - Friday, July 18th at approximately 9:00 am.

All players will need to have the Medical Insurance Form signed by players & parents.   This form can also be picked up in the weight room during weights.  In short, the form states that they have insurance.  It will also have a place for insurance information that parents will need to  provide.  Players will not be issued gear until this form is filled out.

Price of the camp is $75.00. Remember that $25.00 per player goes to the team food fund for Fridays and Sundays dinner program.

Mark Elmblade from Armorzone will be in the weight room on Thursday, June 26 at 10:00am to fit, answer questions, and take orders for those who would like to lease helmets and / or shoulder pads.   He will also take orders on line at

  • General Communication – reinforce the importance of communication with your kids the importance of speaking (not texting!, not emailing!) their coaches, their parents, and each other. As an example, if your kid has an obligation to another sport or commitment, it is their responsibility to inform their coaches so all are aware. Nothing betters a relationship like good communication.
